Wanted Tumblr features.
Dear Tumblr Staff, these are our wanted features:
- Fill the
authortag of the RSS feed,- Add possibility to let a user add their realname/nickname instead of using the user’s first tumblr subdomain/title (for example, my root tumblr is called
Cafeisme. But my nickname iswebs, and I want my author name aswebs, even if webs.tumblr.com is not available.),- Be able to choose the default tumblr to post to in the bookmarklet,
- Use HTML escaping/entities in answers (to allow users to say
<3:))- Add
likesas a Post type for themes. I don’t want to display my likes separately, I want them inside my main content,- More options for queueing: if there is more than X queued posts, post more frequently; or max queued posts per day,
- RSS feed for the Dashboard,
- Tag cloud for themes,
“Source” in themes & API (like from “API”, “Bookmarklet”, Feed name, …),
Possibility to define different markup per post (Sometimes, I want to write in HTML, sometimes, in Textile, sometimes in Markdown),
- Endless scrolling in themes,
- Replies/Mentions (twitter like) (maybe via tags,
@staff,@cafeisme, …),- Use maruku as Markdown formatter (it’s better!),
- Add Textile as a markup,
Add a Table Of Contents in the docs faq
Feature us and/or add us in a Tumblr Tuesday. Because we rock.
(by order of priority)
